whats your opinion on the bsa mil-dot 6-24x40ir rifle scope???
Im considering buying a bsa mil-dot 6-24x40 illuminated reticle rifle scope for my .17hmr....does anyone have one of these scopes....how fine is the reticle? Tell what you think about it.
BSA is a horrible product...not worth bringing home. You barely move your head and the whole thing goes black.
Bushnell (certainly not my favorite either) and Tasco is a much better product in the same price range. I have a tasco world class (not illuminated) 4x16x40 for my 17hmr for about 75 bucks and I've had good luck with it (I settle for about 12-14x though as mirage won't let me go higher most of the time). I would recomend it.
Simmons is the "best" cheap scope brand out there though.
A little better yet is Mueller optics.
Don't buy the BSA, you'll regret it. There are other options.
