How to lower FPS for cqb requirements?
I have an aeg that runs about 360-370 fps, and the airsoft arenas say 350 fps or lower with a .2 bb. How can i lower my fps without using heavier bb's?
Using a heavier BB won't make your gun any less powerful - it'll still be too hot for the arena even if you use heavier ammo. Heavier ammo may go slower, but it has the same amount of power, which is given to it by the spring in the gearbox.
The only way to reliably reduce a gun's power is to fit a weaker spring, which gives less energy to the BB's.
